  1.              Creative Applications Update Readme File

  4. This software package will install 2 Creative Windows applications
  5. to your system - Talking Scheduler and Creative Mosaic. Before
  6. you proceed with the software installation, please take note
  7. of the following points.
  8.  
  9. 1. You MUST have a Sound Blaster 16/32/AWE32 audio card installed
  10.    in your PC system. If you do not, this software will not be
  11.    able to function.
  12.  
  13. 2. You MUST have installed the Creative software (included in your
  14.    Sound Blaster 16/32/AWE32 package) prior to installing this
  15.    Creative Applications Update software package. 
  16.  
  17.    Both Creative Mosaic and Talking Scheduler make use of some of
  18.    the software drivers/DLLs that are part of your Sound Blaster
  19.    software package. Therefore, you *must* install the Sound Blaster
  20.    software first, before installing this software update.

  23.    *** Additional Note For Talking Scheduler ***
  24.  
  25.    To make use of Talking Scheduler, please ensure that the Creative
  26.    TextAssist package has also been installed on your PC. Creative
  27.    TextAssist is available as part of most Sound Blaster software
  28.    packages, or as a stand-alone upgrade package.
  29.  
  30. 3. This software package makes use of a Windows-based installation
  31.    program. Double-click on SETUP.EXE to launch the installation from
  32.    File Manager (if using Windows 3.1), or use the Add-Remove Programs
  33.    applet in the Control Panel and click on the "Install" button (if
  34.    using Windows 95).

  36. 4. For instructions on using Creative Mosaic and Talking Scheduler,
  37.    simply click on the "How To Use Creative Mosaic" or "How To Use
  38.    Talking Scheduler" icons to launch each applications' respective
  39.    on-line help files.
  40.  
  41. 5. You can uninstall this software package from your PC system at
  42.    any time by clicking on the Uninstall icon found in the Creative
  43.    Applications program group.
  44.  
  45. Once again, you MUST ensure that the Creative software which comes
  46. with your Sound Blaster 16/32/AWE32 audio card has already been
  47. installed into your PC. If not, please do so before installing
  48. this Creative Applications Update software package.
